Maiden Flight
This is my newly-acquired 1972 Batavus Batafold bicycle. I'm cleaning her up and making her roadworthy. Threw on a NOS Weinmann 1080 side-pull front brake. These bikes were supplied without front brakes, relying solely on a rear coaster. I took her out on Friday for the first proper test, bedding in the front brake.
The bike features a Sachs Torpedo Duomatic 2-speed kickshift hub gear - no control cables to the rear.
