Almost heaven
Ned Scudder, the world's foremost authority on the A.C. Shelby Cobra motor car, sent me this picture taken on a recent Cobra rally in Virginia and West Virginia. Looks like a lot of fun to me.
Little Blue Wagon
For those with long memories and a love of drag racing you may well remember Bill "Maverick" Golden's Little Red Wagon, a wheelstanding exhibition truck that toured in the sixties and up to recent times. Well this isn't that.
The Little Blue Wagon is the lesser known Canadian counterpart from the great wheelie days, which we recently came across at the Wings and Wheels day at Downsview Airport, Toronto.

A tale of two cities
Last weekend I was out on a tour of the Guelph Junction Railway, which the city of Guelph has struggled to keep intact down the years. I took this shot south of the town as the train, headed by engine 182, rolled past at about 20 m.p.h.
Meanwhile back in Hogtown they have been ripping out the tracks on Lakeshore east, thereby ensuring that no tourist tram will ever run to the docklands. Bone-headed stupidity rules.
